Statistics Consulting Laboratory (Stat Lab)
The Arizona Statistics Consulting Laboratory (Stat Lab) provides statistical expertise, personnel and computing resources to facilitate study design and conduct, data acquisition protocols, data analysis, and the preparation of grants and manuscripts, adapt and develop new statistical methods.
Media Facility - Bio5
The Bio5 Media Facility provides microbiological media, plant tissue culture media, buffers, custom mammalian cell culture media, and other formulations tailored to researchers’ specific research needs.
Machine Shop - Chemistry and Biochemistry
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Machine Shop is a full-service precision machine shop specializing in the design and construction of custom mechanical equipment for scientific research and teaching. It is a research support component of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arizona and also performs work for other University departments.
Glass Shop - Chemistry and Biochemistry
The glassblowing facility is a full-service shop primarily engaged in the design and fabrication of specialized scientific glassware as well as repairs and modifications of existing glassware.
Experimental Radiation (part of UACC's EMSR)
The Experimental Radiation Service provides investigators with access to a high dose rate ionizing radiation source dedicated to research. This service is part of the UACC's Experimental Mouse Shared Resource.
PANDA Core at the University of Arizona Steele Children’s Research Center
This core facility serves all University investigators, as well as researchers from other academic institutions and industries with an interest in microbiome analysis. It provides the research community the facility and expertise to characterize complex microbial communities and microbial interactions using state-of-the-art instrumentation and highly trained personnel who provide support ranging from experimental design to data analysis.
The Michael J. Drake Electron Microprobe Laboratory
This Laboratory is equipped with CAMECA SX100 Ultra and CAMECA SX50 electron probe microanalyzers (EPMA) that perform rapid, non-destructive chemical analysis of solid samples.
MCB Imaging Facility
Offering fluorescence deconvolution microscopy, which is particularly well suited for thinner samples that may be too dim to image on a confocal microscope.
