The LOI deadline has been extended from 3/10/2022 to 5/10/2022.
UArizona may submit one full proposal as the lead. This opportunity is Institutionally Coordinated. Please contact RDS for more information.
Limited submission language from the solicitation: An organization may submit only one CISE-RV proposal in which it is the lead institution. This limit has been set to ensure that a single organization submits a strong and focused proposal that leverages all the resources available to that organization. In the event that an organization exceeds this limit, proposals will be accepted based on earliest date and time of proposal submission, i.e., the first proposal from that organization will be accepted, and the remainder will be returned without review. No exceptions will be made.

UArizona is limited to one CIP proposal per CyberTraining program competition. Only submit to this internal competition if you are proposing a CIP proposal.
This program seeks to prepare, nurture, and grow the national scientific research workforce for creating, utilizing, and supporting advanced cyberinfrastructure (CI) to enable and potentially transform fundamental science and engineering (S&E) research and education and contribute to the Nation's overall economic competitiveness and security. There are no restrictions or limits on Pilot or Implementation proposals.
UArizona may serve as sole submitting organization or as lead organization on only one submission per competition, regardless of track, but may serve as the non-lead organization of a collaborative project more than once per competition.
Because the "Implementation Track" requires an LOI due March 14, 2022, there is insufficient time to hold an internal competition. Therefore, this opportunity will be listed as "Open" based on the earliest sponsor's deadline for submission toward either the March Implementation deadline or the May planning grant deadline.

GEOPAths invites proposals that specifically address the current needs and opportunities related to education, learning, training and professional development within the geosciences community through the formation of STEM Learning Ecosystems that engage students in the study of the Earth, its oceans, polar regions and atmosphere. The primary goal of the GEOPAths funding opportunity is to increase the number of students pursuing undergraduate and/or postgraduate degrees through the design and testing of novel approaches that engage students in authentic, career-relevant experiences in geoscience. In order to broaden participation in the geosciences, engaging students from historically excluded groups or from non-geoscience degree programs is a priority. This solicitation features three funding tracks that focus on Geoscience Learning Ecosystems (GLEs):

UArizona may submit one full proposal to Track 3 only.
Track 3: The Institutional Transformation Projects (ITP) track supports institution-wide structural or systemic changes to enhance undergraduate STEM education at the proposing HSI. The ITP must be grounded in STEM education research and broadening participation research and be designed to make institutional infrastructure and policy changes to support long-term institutional changes that encourage and support faculty in implementing evidence-based practices that enhance student outcomes in STEM at the proposing HSI.
Due to the institutional infrastructure and policy requirements, this opportunity is Institutionally Coordinated. Proposals should be coordinated with HSI Initiatives and RDS. Contact RDS for more information
